These terms apply to your use of the St Nicholas Church, Little Chishill website (the site), and to any purchase, donation or booking enquiry you make through it. Please read them carefully. By using the site, you accept these terms.

1. Who we are
This site is run by St Nicholas Church, Little Chishill, a parish church in the Diocese of Chelmsford. You can reach us at stnicholaschurchlittlechishill@gmail.com.

2. Using our website
You are welcome to use this site for your own personal, non-commercial use. Please do not misuse it, attempt to interfere with it, or use it in any unlawful way. We provide the content in good faith and for general information.

3. Our content and copyright
The text, photographs, drone footage and historical research on this site belong to St Nicholas Church, Little Chishill, or are used with permission. You are welcome to share links to our pages. Please ask us first before reproducing our photographs or research anywhere else.

4. Historical information
We share the history of the church and village in good faith. Some of it rests on local tradition, old records and ongoing research, and it may contain errors or gaps. Please treat it as interest and encouragement to explore, rather than a definitive or authoritative record.

5. Our online shop
Prices for our postcards and any other items are shown in pounds sterling. Postage is added at checkout where it applies. We post within the UK, and can arrange international orders on request, which may carry a higher postage cost. Your order is accepted once payment has been received, and we aim to post it within a few working days. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you and refund you in full.

6. Your right to cancel and returns
If you buy from our shop as a consumer, you may cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it and return the goods, unused and in their original condition, for a refund. Please contact us first at the email above. You pay the cost of return postage unless the item is faulty. If anything arrives faulty or damaged, please tell us and we will replace it or refund you, including postage.

7. Donations
Donations made towards the tower and the upkeep of the building are used for the care and repair of the church, and are held for this church rather than paid into central church funds. Donations are not refundable, except where a gift has been made in genuine error. Where you are a UK taxpayer and complete a Gift Aid declaration, we may reclaim Gift Aid on eligible donations.

8. Marquee and event enquiries
Any enquiry you send through this site about hiring our marquee, or about an event, is an enquiry only and not a confirmed booking. We will contact you to discuss dates, prices and arrangements, and any booking is subject to terms agreed between us at that time.

9. Links to other websites
Where we link to other websites, we do so for convenience and information. We are not responsible for the content, products or privacy practices of any website that is not ours.

10. Our responsibility to you
We take care to keep this site accurate and available, but we provide it as it is, and we cannot guarantee that it will always be complete, current or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

11. Your privacy
Any information you send us through the contact form or by email is used only to respond to you and to deal with your enquiry, order or donation. We do not sell your information. Please see our privacy policy for more detail.

12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page is the one that applies.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
